Off to Kenya via London
We meet up with Bonnie and Tom on 7/19/17 for our flight to London. We decided an overnight in Windsor at the Prince George would be a good idea. We located on the Thames right under the Windsor Castle. Windsor is a darling town, worth another visit. On 7/20 we boarded our flight for Nairobi. We arrived a bit early with two other jumbo jets who all needed to get thru immigration and customs. It took almost 1 1/2 hours to clear customs. So much for arriving early. We were met by Dembi, a representative of OATS, who transported us to the Weston Hotel. An hour after our arrival the rest of our travel companions arrived. Janet and Dave, Vard and Rita, Carol and Larry and Andrea. There are 11 of us heading to the Masai Mara. Today we celebrated Larry's birthday with cake for breakfast.
